An image purporting to show the costs associated with the construction of Pembi bridge in Mashonaland Central has leaked online. There has been an uproar online as some say the bridge was constructed for a cost of about $1.8 million. This figure does not appear on the image but it seems to support this viewpoint although it is possible the cost might include the cost of paving the road near the bridge. Another image shows the project had an initial budget of US$1 million.
