It seems medical aid providers are feeling the heat as the inflation rate continues to rise. CIMAS one of the country’s leading providers has written to its members warning them that if they fail to pay their membership fees, benefits will be suspended at the beginning of each month.

CIMAS has already hiked their membership fees in line with inflation. However given the daily and weekly price increases, groceries saw a 300% increase in one week, for example, some members seems to be taking advantage of inflation and delaying making payment.
