Things to note
- Chicken still remains the most affordable protein source
- 2KG packs are cheaper per KG than 1KG packs, this trend holders the more you buy the more you save
- Don’t buy whole birds, they are inexplicably expensive per KG than portions
- Sometimes chicken offals can be more expensive than the actual portions from other brands, Chicken feet are an example, they cost the same as Baba John’s portions.
- Shop means the shop’s own branded/unbranded chicken
- Branded chicken is cheaper than the shop’s own chicken
