So YouTube and the US pulled a shocker as we explained earlier on. YouTubers outside the United States including Zimbabweans are now going to be tax on revenue generated from US citizens and residents. This means that if your channel ads are viewed by people in the United States you will have to pay tax on that revenue.

You entire earnings will be taxed unless you submit your tax information to Adsense. But how does one go about doing this. Tax is one of those areas that scares most people. Don’t worry, tax scares even good accountants like me as it can get rather complicated fast. Thankfully YouTube has created an explainer video that will walk you through the process. It’s something that I have done myself countless times on other similar sites that help you generate revenue as a Zimbabwean.
