A few things to note:
- More and more companies are now selling chicken offals, this can be explained by two things:
- They are trying to cater to the low-income market which tends to go for things like chicken feet, heads and cassings
- They are now trying to make more money by selling different cuts at different prices e.g. chicken wings sold separately fetch higher prices than general chicken cuts
- Baba John’s chicken is no longer the cheapest chicken brand, that honour goes to Sable Chicken
- Generally branded chicken is cheaper than chicken sold by the shop itself
