The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) have announced that they are still monitoring the global petroleum situation as well as consulting with the government over what the price of fuel should be for the last week of March. In the meantime, the government agency has urged motorists and service stations to continue to use last week’s prices. Last week ZERA pegged the price of fuel at US$1.59 per litre for petrol and US$1.60 per litre for diesel.

PETROLEUM PRICES – WEEK 28 MARCH 2022
The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) continues to monitor fuel prices in the market and provide regular updates to all stakeholders.

The Authority is currently in consultation with Government and the industry, therefore prices for week beginning 28 March 2022 will be delayed. Fuel operators are advised to continue using the prevailing price.

The blending ratio remains at E0. Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations.

Stakeholders are advised that the petroleum price releases by ZERA can be verified on the official ZERA website, Facebook or Twitter handle.
