We are here again with another controversial piece, Zimbabwe’s data bundles are now too cheap to the extent that they are no longer working as expected with congestion, network errors and other issues plaguing most people’s internet experience. Generally, USD bundles sold by all three mobile network operators give an indication of what the prices ought to be. For example, monthly WhatsApp bundles have always retailed for $US3.00 but are not around US$0.80 thanks to rate movements. Thankfully it seems that is about to change. Telecel has just announced they will be hiking their data bundles this coming Sunday. Based on past experience you can expect the other two are also going to do the same.
