Kuchengetana trust was launched in response to the widespread hunger issues that plagued the founder’s area in Chitungwiza after the first COVID-19 lockdown last year. It has now evolved over the months into an impressive organisation that has remained true to its goals of feeding the hungry. Not so long ago the Trust’s founder expressed the wish to embark on projects that would make the Trust independent and self-funding rather than rely on donations only.

It seems the trust is now started on that journey. Recently the trust received horticultural equipment from ZIMNAT that included the following items:

  • 2 x 5000 litre tanks
  • 2x steel stands for the tanks
  • 1×4 gas burner stove
  • 2x 15kg gas tanks

The trust expressed its wish to embark on horticultural activities using some of these items:

After the generous donation from
@ZimnatOfficial
we are now tasked with taking our 2 water tanks and stands to start our journey in agriculture. We need assistance with ferrying and getting at least one installed. Please share with your networks and help us win.
