The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority normally announces new fule prices for each month around the fifth day of the commencing month. This time however, they announced that they were holding off on announcing new prices which means that old prices are now.

ANCOUNCEMENT OF FUEL PRICES FOR OCTOBER 2021

According to Statutory Instrument 270 of 2019, Petroleum (Petroleum Products Prcing) Reguations, the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) is supposed to review and announcement fuel prices by the 5th of every month.

However, due to developements that are taking place, ZERA will issue a statement on the October 2021 fuel prices after the set statutory date.

ZERAis working to have the fuel prices for the month announced and are paying close atenntion to trends on the international oil market while conslting local key stakeholders on the likely impact of the developments on the final pump prices.

Fuel operators are therefore urged to continue trading as per the September 2021 fuel prices while consultations are being finalised.

The October 2021 fuel prices will be announced in due course
