It’s no secret it is businesses that have suffered the most as a result of ZESA’s still ongoing power cuts. Despite imports into the country, frequent breakdowns at Hwange Power station have always ensured that there is a need for long power cuts that often see businesses not being spared.

One of Zimbabwe’s gold mining companies, Caledonia Mine, in Banket seems to have had enough of these power cuts which are constantly interrupting with its production and foreign currency earning operations.
