After going berserk in the early weeks of September, black market rates seem to be now rising steadily albeit at a much slower pace than during these weeks of madness. Last week the rates moved up from around $17.50 to $18:50. Now for the first time since three weeks ago they have risen above $19.00 ZWL: 1 USD.

According to Zimrates, the following rates are in effect at the moment:

  • OMIR 25.09
  • USD / ZWL$ 19.1
  • USD / ZWL$ (interbank) 15.35
  • USD / BOND 12.4
