The Imperial College in the UK has published a model with shows that between between 14 943 and 33 073 Zimbabweans will die this year from the coronavirus. An estimated 8 370 104 to 13 981 038 will be infected during the same period including those who will die.

These number of infections will require between 126 738 and 230 755. To say Zimbabwe doesn’t have the beds to cover this is an undestatement. The elite in this country have overseen the complete and utter destruction of Zimbabwe’s hospital system to the extent that most hospitals don’t have basic drugs such as paracetamol or ibuprofen.
