The pattern is becoming clear. As most anticipated, a lot of businesses did not open today and most people opted for the safety of their own homes rather than hazard visiting the central business districts of their cities and towns. The CBDs of most towns resemble ghost towns with very little human activity and little traffic. Chinhoyi, it seems, is no different. However from the pictures posted on social media it seems in comparison to everywhere else there seems to be more activity in that town than others.

Chinhoyi Update :
There is no demonstration or any sign of it. Its very peaceful and unarmed police officers are seen moving around town. They are not stopping anybody. Soldiers are nowhere to be seen. However, a lot of shops are closed.
