If you have been having airtime related issues with your Telecel account over the past 24 hours or so there is a reason. Telecel, it would seem, were in the process of effecting a “major” airtime system upgrade resulting in disruptions. Some customers reported buying airtime but not receiving it-something us Ecocash customers are quite used to when buying Ecocash airtime- but unheard of in the Telecel and Telecash world.
Telecel would like to advise it’s valued customers of the completion of the major system upgrade and buying airtime using Telecash has been restored.
