Zimbabwe’s largest ISP have announced that they will be carrying out scheduled maintenance tonight as part of their effort to improve their network. To be honest the ISP’s LTE offering, dubbed Wibroniks, hasn’t been working well ever since the shutdown started with customers complaining of dial-up like speeds.

Will this fix Wibroniks?

One can only hope however as in times past ZOL have not actually given any other details as to what exactly they will be fixing during this maintenance period. According to our beloved friends at Techzim, ZOL seems to have suffered a hack which saw some individual add accounts into their billing system. These accounts have been reported to be getting free internet at the expense of the quality of the service.
