If you are a ZOL customer and you were experiencing no internet or intermittent internet during the weekend you are not alone. Early yesterday the company admitted that some of their clients were experiencing complete or occasional downtime due to some unspecified technical issues. Several ZOL customers attested to this fact including prominent journalists and a member of the EU delegation in Zimbabwe-Timo Olkkomen.

ZOL later issued a statement announcing that normal service has been resolved. Personally, I did not completely lose internet instead speeds were either very low or and there was intermittent loss of connectivity. My connection was erratic for the most part of yesterday and now seems to be back to its best self.
