Apparently some shops in town are now making quotes which will be valid for hours only if they are in Zimbabwean dollars. There is the case of Mahomed Mussa where the shopping aisles bear notices warning customers prices can change before they reach the till. It seems they are not the only ones.
We have experienced this with several major hardware shops ourselves in town where prices are changing so often you the quote itself comes with a disclaimer that if you come after certain hours prices will be changed, invariably upwards.
One individual has shared their quotation from a borehole drilling company in town. Whereas quotations we have seen are valid for 24 hours, this one bears a disclaimer saying it’s only valid for 3 hours!
