Data released by the UK’s Office of National Statistics (ONS) shows that Zimbabwe has been a prolific exporter of fruit and vegetables to the United Kingdom. The country exported, to the UK, fruits and veggies worth a whopping £3.7m during the 12 months that ended in March 2021. That means Zimbabwe is now in the top ten of fruit and vegetable exporters to the UK.

This is not all. Zimbabwe also registered a growth in exports to the UK during the 12 months ending July 2021. Our exports to the UK increased by 33.3% compared to the previous period. This makes Zimbabwe the 6th country in the list of countries that registered export growth in bilateral trade with the UK during the same period.
