Over the weekend the government gazetted Statutory Instrument 10 of 2021 which introduced a 30 day lockdown. Most businesses will have to shutdown but it there were exceptions. Organisations that provide essential services will remain operational. Naturally one such entity is ZINWA who have confirmed this in their own public notice. The notice details operating hours which unsurprisingly run from 08:00 to 15:00 during weekdays.

The water authority has however said that customers are encouraged to make use of remote payment methods such as Ecocash, OneMoney, Bank Transfers and banking apps. They have also provided support numbers that the public can call if they have any issues.
