DStv has announced that they are killing the MNet City (Channel 115) and Vuzu (channel 116) channels starting 1 November. Instead, the two channels are going to be merged into a single channel called Me which will be available on channel 115 at the start of next month.

Mnet City and Vuzu are aimed at young viewers who are between the ages of 18 and 34 years. The replacement Me channel will also feature content that appeals to the same age group. It will feature shows such as The Rookie, NCIS: New Orleans, Survivor Australia and Young Sheldon between 17:00 and 20:00 daily.

It will also show episodes of Lioness, Prodigal Son,911 and All American. Vuzu shows such as Real Housewives, Flight Attendant and so on will also be featured. Vuzu and M-Net City will stop broadcasting on the 39th of October and Me Channel will launch on the first day of November late in the evening.
