ZERA have announced that fuel prices will remain the same as those they announced last week. This is the first time this has happened in a long time. Usually, we wake up to new prices, shocking prices in the case of last week, each Monday morning.

Accordingly, prices have therefore not changed for both diesel and blend. Operators mya however, sell at prices below the cap depending on their trading advantages

The week-old hoax
Last week ZERA raised fuel prices over the weekend, earlier than usual. That Monday another image similar to the ones they give out announcing fuel prices “leaked”. It purported to show new fuel prices that would be effective today with diesel selling above $18. That was a hoax.
