Reports from various passengers suggest ZUPCO has doubled its fares as of today. There hasn’t been an official public communication yet as we write this but there is a short WhatsApp message which purposes to instruct ZUPCO crews (staff) to increase these fares. Again we cannot at this moment verify its authenticity although several people we know have said that they were being asked to pay double the usual fare.
