The Zimbabwe Republic Police has moved to suspend the Officer in Charge of Matapi police station over a New Year’s eve bash that is now being called a super-spreader event. There was outcry on social media as pictures of the crowded event circulated on social media. It seems failure to prevent the even might end up costing these officers their jobs. The event took place a few metres from the police station.
