In the past number of days a lot of Econet subscribers received an SMS warning them of an impending data and SMS bundle price adjustment on the 11 of March. Today is the 11 of March and true to its word Econet has made some hikes.

This follows a few weeks in which the black market rates have been crazy rising from an average of about 26 ZWL per 1 USD in mid-February to a whooping $36+ within the course of a few weeks. It doesn’t seem like the rate is done rising either.
