The Finance Minister is presenting his 2020 budget before Parliament at the moment of writing this and one of his proposed measures is that duty exemption on sanitary wear that includes sanitary pads be extended by another 12 months

“Sanitary wear is a basic commodity for the hygiene of women and girls [..] I propose to extend duty exemption on sanitary wear by a further twelve months and also include sanitary cups and pants on the list of duty free products.” #NationalBudget2020
