Pictures on social media show how Beitbridge vendors are now back to peddling their wares in the Southern boarder town. This is probably prompted by the fact that despite introducing the lockdown and curfew the government has not bothered to assist people. Not even Mthuli Ncube’s promised $300 ZWL, which is too low to sustain even a family of one, has reached most of the people who desperately need it.
