We have noticed that there is an increase in the number of male hairdressers in Harare in general. The guys at Creative Loop have noticed that too and gone on to make a video about this phenomena.

Zimbabwe is a very conservative country when it comes to gender roles. If you walk into a hair salon chances are the male guy is a barber and the females are the hairdressers. I have been to saloons recently where roles are actually reversed and the experience has been refreshing.
