“Only Make Payments At Our Shops,” TelOne Warns Customers

Zimbabwe’s largest and only ADSL provider has issued a public notice warning it’s customers to only pay for hardware and equipment at designated TelOne shops. It’s no clear what exactly prompted this notice but classifieds are full of adversts from third parties selling TelOne related hardware such as ADSL modems and LTE MIFI devices. Some scammers have also been known to sell LTE lines claiming they are from TelOne even though the ISP is not selling any lines at the moment.

Public Notice Please be advised that all payments for customer premise equipment such as modems and handsets are only done at TelOne shops.
